The Ossekeag Way

THEN:

The first Hampton Herald was published in April 1982 by long-time Hampton residents, Bert and Helen Boyd.  Since that time the Boyd’s printing and publishing business was divided, with the publishing side being purchased in 2000 by Mike and Debbie Hickey.  In December 2016 the Hickey’s retired and Ossekeag Publishing was purchased by Kevin and Amanda Crealock, of Sussex, New Brunswick.

NOW:

Amanda and Kevin, together with their awesome team, plan to continue serving the communities in Southern New Brunswick by providing information on community events, outreach and volunteer programs and general interest pieces.  Family owned and operated, Ossekeag is a local publishing company dedicated to serving local business and the communities those businesses serve.

Ossekeag Publishing produces four community magazines featuring local news and events. Our four papers are widely read throughout the communities they serve, from West Saint John all the way to Petitcodiac, and everywhere in between – over 40,000 homes in total.   All of our publications are delivered FREE to every home twice a month via Canada Post.

If you have a small business in Southern New Brunswick, Ossekeag Publishing’s community storytelling venues are a great way to help the public find you and grow your business. Contact us today to discuss how we can help you.

We support local and buy local; we are the Home of the Hampton Herald, The Sussex Herald, The Valley Viewer and The Tides.
